My name is Frances Murphy and I am the Acupuncturist in Ballyphehane Wellness Centre. Acupuncture is the insertion of very thin needles onto the skin at chosen points along channels/meridians of the body in order to improve the flow of chi, which can be blocked for many reasons.

The Chi can be blocked for different reasons, including emotional upset, lifestyle imbalances, hereditary factors, infections or trauma. I take a full medical history, discuss lifestyle and assess the rhythm and strength of the pulses for signs of imbalances.

A treatment usually lasts about an hour including assessment and it can be extremely relaxing.

I run the Community Acupuncture Clinic every Tuesday at the lower rate of €25 so it can be accessed by people on a low wage or unemployed.

Spiritual Healing:
It’s a guided healing process using universal healing energy which also helps you to tap into your own potential and the capacity to heal your body and mind. It’s very relaxing and you will enjoy the experience as you allow the healing to happen.

The idea of making positive changes to your life may sound easy but at times it is hard to actually achieve the change. Old habit/patterns don’t let you progress much. Using hypnosis, old beliefs, habits and patterns can be transformed as we work with the subconscious mind.

It involves accessing and working with emotions, body sensations, mind and past memories to discover the cause of a present situation, pain. This provides a deeper spiritual perspective and helps to understand the current situation, allows the blocks from the past to be released, frees from guilt and gives better understanding of current relationships.

Regression therapy can also be used as a positive resource to discover your talents, gifts possessed by you in other lives.

Currently pursuing a course in Regression therapy.
